ABOUT THE BOOK

This is a doing book. It’s an instruction manual for leaders and people managers who want to lean in and address workplace conflict from the inside-out.

With this book’s SNAP BC™ Method, you take a stepwise approach for building mental and emotional mastery so that you can work with conflict with greater resilience and confidence and with less unconsciousness and reactivity.

Each chapter explains an element of the SNAP BC method and illustrates multiple ways to practice the skill involved and prepare to use it during conflict.  The skills you develop are effective in addressing not only conflict but other difficult situations, as well.

This book honors our brains’ neuroplasticity and the fact that we can learn new ways of being in conflict that better serve ourselves and our organizations.
