Communication That Resonates

An essential skill for good lawyering is the ability to persuade and influence.  The most effective lawyers do this by appealing not just to our minds, but also by demonstrating interest in and connection to us as human beings.  In this course we work with mindfulness-based practices to help legal professionals who wish to strengthen their capacity to communicate with clients, opponents, peers, supervisors and others so that they can “show up” with greater focus, less distraction and more attunement; uncover and fulfill their intention behind the communication; and connect on a level that encompasses yet transcends the intellect.

This course is for you if you suspect (or have been told) that:

  • your clients do not feel heard or understood
  • that you do not fully “show up” in your interpersonal interactions
